Ice Crack Shader

What is this?

This is a falling through the ice scene to showcase an animated parallax depth shader as well as a full screen space effect shader. Made in Unity with shader graph. Made as part of Harry Alisavakis‘s ‘Frost’ challenge on his discord. 🥶🧊❄️

Features:

  • Parallax depth shader on the ice (materials animated for the crack propagation)
  • Screen space shader driven by script for the frost effect around the screen edges
